Hi, this is where you acquire a ticket for a 'virtual performance' of a play performed by members of the Carver Theatre under licence from an author and their agents.
As you may be aware many playwrights and their agents are concerned about people seeing their work on the Internet. This means there are several of what may appear to be slightly onerous conditions around how the play is made available to you. In particular you can only watch the performance once per ticket. In other words, if you want to pause watching or listening to the play - DO NOT close your web browser window as you will not be able to go back to the web page again.
If you need to restart watching the play after closing the web browser window you will have to come back here and acquire another ticket.
The good news is that there is no charge for a ticket for this play.
However, as we have had to pay a considerable sum for the licence to perform this play we will be giving you the option to make a small donation to help cover the costs of the licence once you have seen or heard the play performed.
There are a few steps to go through in order to enjoy the performance
Step One - You give us your name and email address - which are safely stored behind our fire wall and will not be used for any purpose other than to inform you of how to access the play and tell you of other plays we are performing.
Step Two - We will send you an email that contains a one time link to access the play. Please do not click on this link until you are ready to listen to the play.
Step Three - When you click on the link in the email you will be taken to another web page which has the player option on it. This page also contains a couple of ways in which you can make a small donation towards the cost of the licence fee. Any donation is entirely optional and in no way are you under any obligation to make a donation.
You will not be able to download the performance or return to the performance web page once it is closed.
